Who we are

Serge Durica is a criminal defence lawyer, practicing in Kitchener-Waterloo, Milton, London, Woodstock, Stratford, and the surrounding areas. 

As a criminal defence lawyer, his passion lies in championing the rights of the accused and ensuring that everyone receives fair representation, regardless of the charges they face. He believe that justice is a fundamental right, and is driven by a relentless commitment to defending the voiceless in the legal system. 

Serge obtained an Honours Undergraduate Degree with Distinction from the University of Waterloo in Legal Studies. 

He studied law at the University of Ottawa where he obtained his J.D. and graduated Cum Laude. While at the University of Ottawa, Serge was a Dean’s Research Fellow, and briefly interned for a local defence counsel. During his studies, Serge was awarded the Gordon Blair Prize for his achievement in Public and Constitutional Law.

Prior to his call to the bar, and while studying, Serge worked as a clerk for a prominent defence lawyer in Kitchener.
